WIND – An exploration of movement and meaning. “My work is a translation of how I experience the objects, people, and landscapes around me. While reinterpreting what I experience, I reference art history, experimental animation history and film history, with the goal of adding to the experimental arts while using the building blocks of our past.”
Dana Sink lives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with his wife, daughter, two cats, and a dog. He creates allegorical animations that draw inspiration from the people and objects around him. His paintings, films, and animations have been seen in galleries and museums internationally. His achievements include several group and independent exhibitions and being featured in various articles and publications. His films have received recognition in several film and animation festivals and his work has been seen on MTV and MSNBC.
